It is very important these days not to throw any unused medication away. We can accept any medication that you or your family do not need. Just drop it in when you are passing.

Ear Microsuction Service

We are able to obtain your prescriptions electronically without the need for a paper copy. Simply ask your GP Surgery to nominate our pharmacy in order for your prescriptions to be transferred to us automatically.

Emergency Hormonal Contraception/EHC or the "morning after pill" is available on an NHS funded service at this pharmacy.

 

A Medicine use review (MUR) is a great way to sit down in private and talk through your medication record with our pharmacist. It allows you the patient to ask questions about your medication and ask any other questions that you have.

We dispense NHS prescriptions and will give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and an efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly. For patients in England who do not have a valid exemption or pre-payment certificate, the NHS prescription charge is currently £9.65 per item.

We can offer weight management help.  Pharmacists are ideally placed to help you manage your weight as they already provide many health services to customers, including stop smoking services, blood pressure and cholesterol measurements and general advice on nutrition and healthy living. Pharmacists also know when a weight problem can be managed in the pharmacy and when there is a medical problem that needs co-operation with the doctor.
